TOPIC: Bad Character – A Hindrance To Accessing The Glory (Seeds Of Destiny 28 July 2024)
SCRIPTURE: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you fall short of godly character, you rob yourself of glory and honour.
It has been established that character challenge is a major plague in our world today. Bad character is deadly plague that is destructive to life and destiny. The plague of character challenge can be deadlier than that of natural disasters.
One major character challenge of our time is the challenge of financial fraudulence or lack of financial integrity. This is a situation where people make money by fraudulent means.
There are many people today who are not walking in the light and glory that they are meant to walk in because of the challenge of character.
Romans 3:23 says,
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Another way to put this is:
For all have sinned or lost character, and come short of the glory of God.
When you fall short of godly character, you rob yourself of glory and honour.
Two things I want you to note are:
The root of character challenge is traceable to the fall of man in the Garden.
Character problem manifesting as iniquity of different types, is rooted in the calamity of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-7).
Once the root is understood and addressed, character can be adjusted (Galatians 5:19-23).
When the doctor knows the diagnosis, treatment becomes easy. Once the root can be understood and addressed, character can be adjusted.
Please, note that character challenge hinders the manifestation of God’s Glory; it robs people of honour and dignity in life and in destiny.
My counsel for you is to adjust your character so you can live in the Honour and Glory that God has allocated to you.
Remember this: When you fall short of godly character, you rob yourself of glory and honour.
ASSIGNMENT:
Make up your mind to live and manifest the Glory of God.
Refuse to live a lifestyle of iniquity so you don’t fall short of the Glory of God.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You manifest Your Glory in my life. Help me never to fall in short of Your glory by ungodly character, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
