6. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
MESSAGE:
Over the years, I have studied many teenagers and realised that one of the major issues they deal with is low self-esteem. Some of them are filled with self-doubt and insecurity. However, those who are self-confident are better prepared to handle pressure, make good decisions, and recover from setbacks easily.
Beloved, I want to let you know that whether you are struggling with a weakness or a flaw, you can become better. Don’t believe anyone who says that you are stupid, sluggish, or a never do-well; just believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. You are unique, and you remain a work in progress in God’s hands. Identify your strengths as well as your weaknesses, and ask the Holy Spirit to quicken your body, mind, and spirit, and help make you become better. Then, set goals for yourself so that you can work towards improving in every aspect of your life.
Never forget that you are not a failure; let your confidence rest in God.
