33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

The certainty of the second advent of Jesus Christ has been strongly emphasised by many passages of the Bible by the Master Himself. From the happenings around the world in this contemporary time, there are strong indications that Jesus is coming soon.

Interestingly and very instructive too, as Jesus was carrying out His redemptive ministry on earth, He kept on harping on the fact of His assured return and He did His best to open the heart of men to that truth. Unfortunately, many at that time never paid attention to the seriousness of the matter. While He was ascending into heaven and the disciples were gazing intently, two men appeared to them and confirmed the certainty of His return: “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven” (Acts 1:9-11).

Jesus Christ is definitely coming back and that very soon! He is coming back to take home His beloved ones who are living for Him only, who are living in holiness and in the fear of God, who have laid their all on the altar as a living sacrifice, who are not stained by the pollution of the world, who are clothed with the garment of righteousness and purity. Obviously, many Christians are living as if Christ will never return again. How have you been living your life? Are you ready for the Soon-Coming King? If not, repent today and give your life to Him right now.

MORNING

Arrow of iniquity fired against my life, backfire, in the name of Jesus.
Powers assigned to stop me, die, in the name of Jesus.
Power to serve God correctly, possess me now, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING

Wasters in my foundation, I am not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.
My glory shall not be buried in the name of Jesus.
I shall not miss heaven, in the name of Jesus.
Conspiracy from the pit of hell against my spiritual life, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
